In The Demons' Head #17
Friday's Dirt
April 27, 2012
Hello everyone and happy
Friday. I'm very sure that most everyone is excited for it to be
Friday, aren't we always. I hope your weekend plans have something
fun in them I for one will likely remain home and attempt to either
finish my book, or finishing up the April PAD Challenge and
Platforming Challenge.
Speaking of the April PAD
challenge. As some of you have seen, I've been posting some of my
poems as the month has progressed and on Tuesday I will release the
last 3 of the series I intend to promote for the April PAD challenge,
it will bring the total released to 12, and for that I'm very
excited. I hope you guys have enjoyed what I've put out so far.
Also today was an
interesting day, I started to look through some old books and found
an old poem that I wrote some time ago. What was so surprising is
that I had hidden it in this book and when I found it I instantly
knew that it had a place in the collection “More The Memories”
Speaking of “More Then
Memories” work continues diligently, I have currently 112 pages
which is a feat for me. I will also include the April PAD challenge
poems that I have finished and at least one other short story, and
for all I know a couple other poems IF they come to me anytime soon.
I am striving for something around 150 pages, maybe even a few more
but time will only tell.
Also on that front, I am
currently researching which direction I want to go. Either as a
traditional publisher, if one will pick up a poem anthology and short
story collection because those are some very hard books to sell. If I
decide to go the independent route then hopefully I can reach all the
readers, those with e-readers, and those without, it just depends on
if I find a decent Print on Demand Publisher and a couple of other
factors as time winds down to the finish I hope I can give more
direct answers.
As always everyone I'd
like to thank you for your continued support as I chase my dreams. If
there's something you'd like me to answer, or a topic you'd like me
to discuss, or if your a writer who would like to get the word out
about your work to a new audience please feel free to click here and drop me a line.
Until the next time you
want to take a trip through the gates of hell and into the demons'
head, I'm Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.

I'm thinking of self-publishing too. Have you done any research on the topic yet?
ReplyDeleteActually I have done quite a bit of research on it. In both E-book form and the actual print book form do you have any questions?
